"Don't offer that, or you'll never speak anything else around me." He's teasing and honestly, he could maybe repay the effort with some pretty poor attempts at the languages he learned as a younger man. All of which he only knew because he had worked on an international team.
"Sehr gut." Not that he wouldn't follow if he had to. This wouldn't be the first time he would have danced with a man. But right now, Reinhardt isn't focused on the past. Right now, it's just Ocelot and he effortlessly steps off into a stately waltz, keeping the man's shorter legs in mind.
"You know, I could always use the practice," Ocelot shrugs. Even with universal translation, there really was something to be said about speaking other languages.
As they begin the waltz, he finds himself enjoying it. Not quite as much as the kissing, but this is still nice. After all, the other man's pretty impressive.
"Where'd you learn how to dance?" He asks. After all, he knows so little about Reinhardt, even if the man is a proverbial open book, so to speak. Now was as good of a time as any to get a little more information.
And if he has to answer questions about himself? Well... he's ready for that too. Maybe he'll even be slightly truthful.
It's so easy to dance with Ocelot. The man seems rather light on his feet. Easy to move with so long as he keeps with the other's shorter leg span. He might have to shuffle a little, but it's worth it.
He gives a little laugh. He's not embarrassed about his past and he did just kiss a man. He thinks he can at least admit to some of the things he did when he had been a headstrong blond. "I learned from my King. He wasn't really a king. He was the commander of my unit. But he fashioned us after knights. So to me he was a king. Sometimes we would have these official fancy dress parties we'd have to attend for the PR. I begged him to teach me so that I could dance with him there without embarrassing him. A Lord and his Best Knight. The PR people would love it, ja? Of course it was just an excuse to get to dance with him. We had many dances before the end." He gives Ocelot a twirl. "You know what he would say to me, if he was here tonight. He would say, Reinhardt, mein schatz, get all my knights together with as many bag as you can. We are raiding this party! And then we would take all this food and distribute it to the people who actually need it."
He gives Ocelot a grin. "How many bags do you think we could spirit away from this place for the people?"
Ocelot listens to Reinhardt as he tells his story. An elite military unit fashioned after knights. Maybe a little strange, but definitely not the strangest thing he's ever heard of (he did work with the Cobras briefly, and they were much odder than that). And, after all, any good unit needed a strong gimmick, he thinks as Reinhardt twirls him.
"He sounds like he was a good commander," he says, carefully contemplating Reinhardt's next words. Now, he isn't exactly one for charity. But, he is one for petty theft. "That depends on how good you are at sneaking around."
"He was an amazing commander and an amazing man. I loved him very much." He is blunt about it because he's blunt about everything really. He has no shame in those feelings. Just like he has no shame for how much he still sometimes misses his King. "He was a true hero."
He pulls the man back against him and gives Ocelot a sheepish grin. "Do I look like I'm built for stealth? I'm better at being a distraction and the muscle to carry it all. But I still think I would want to try. Because it's what he would do. Is it not what yours would do?" Ocelot's commander or the one he loves...that's left up in the air.
Just for a moment, Ocelot can't help but think of the Boss and John. Likely the situations were completely different, but he'd never quite been one to hold the same level of devotion to his commanders. Though, he supposes, when you have a man like Volgin as your first experience, it's only to be expected.
"My first commander? He'd probably rather see everyone in here running in terror." He's silent for a moment. "But, I knew someone else who'd probably try to eat as much as he could, even if it wasn't edible. He'd gladly help you out if he thought it was a challenge."
So, in a way, he might've answered the question both ways, albeit unintentionally.
Oh, it's exactly like that. It's not platonic feelings of devotion from an underling to a commander that he speaks of. But he's also not ashamed of it. He never will be. Even if he knows it had been against every single military rule.
He gives a chuckle. "I think I'd like that man. Not your commander. The other one. So, I think we have ourselves a mission. For my King and for your friend, let's liberate as much food as we can and deliver it to the people." Well, as soon as they finish their dance.
For a moment, he's silent, looking thoughtful at Reinhardt's suggestion. He can't help but think that it's yet another story to tell John if when he wakes up. He'd leave out the kissing, of course, but as for the rest?
Well, it would definitely be fun. And so, his mouth begins to quirk upwards again, as he smiles in earnest.
"Sounds like a solid plan."
And, he gets to be a good communist as well, redistributing the wealth like that.
