[ He really does. There's nothing over the emotional link but pure honest faith. He utterly trusts Ocelot to get them flying. He's certain that the man can do this. He believes with all his heart in the younger man's skills. ]

[ Still, under all that confidence there is a near childlike glee about being in space. Reinhardt is nearly vibrating with the face that he's helping to fly a space ship. ] I wish we could take pictures from up here. There looks like so many places down there to explore!
[ there might be a slight twinge of doubt in there, though likely not for the reason that Reinhardt thinks. really, it was amazing just how many people seemed to actually trust him here. though, he supposes that it had been the same back home.

Your enthusiasm is really something else. If you take out your phone, I'm sure we could manage a picture or two.
[ after all, their temperaments seemed to be balancing one another out surprisingly well in this thing. the ship remained stable, and it was surprisingly easy to maneuver.
[ There's a huge welling of excitement from Reinhardt. Hopefully it doesn't make the ship go faster. But he's definitely going to take this opportunity to haul out his phone.
And then there is another emotion. A slightly giddy sneaky one before he's shifting in his pilot seat and angling his body just so, arm extending out as far as it can go. Who needs a special stick when you have Reinhardt's arm span. ]
Hey Ocelot...Selfie!! [ That is what they called it back in his youth after all. But he's taking a picture. Him. His co-pilot and the beautiful planet behind them. ]
[ he's a little caught off guard by that request. and, combined with the excitement coming from Reinhardt, it leads to things going a little differently than he anticipated.
so unfortunately, instead of getting a majestic picture of his co-pilot and the beautiful planet, he might get a few ones of DD jumping onto him, before the craft makes a swing off to the left, as he nearly falls out of his seat.
and the worst of it is that the other man can probably feel his embarrassment. the curse he lets out in Russian doesn't exactly help either.
well, that was two for two in making a fool of himself in front of this handsome older man. he really can't help but think of John. ]
[ Oh, he feels it. But all Reinhardt has on his side is amusement. He really is pretty easily to let things like this roll off him. It makes him laugh brightly to see the photo he snapped.
He tries to right the shuttle so that they don't end up crashing into anything. ]

[ Because everyone needs a backdrop of an embarrassed man, an excitable dog and a huge German. ]
[ and of course his flying partner is amused. DD, for his part, is still perfectly happy, wandering over to Reinhardt to get a little bit of affection, as Ocelot pinches the bridge of his nose, sighing. ]
Try not to show it to everyone you meet.
[ he has a reputation to maintain, after all. and while a part of him might be rather content that a man like Reinhardt might feature a picture of him as his background, he is mostly just horrified. ]
[ Another booming laugh but there's also pure honesty coming from him. ] I swear to you I won't show it to everyone. Most people aren't even going to be tall enough to see my phone when I look at it. So I think you're safe.
But if you really don't want me to have it, I'll delete it. And maybe get a better picture of all of us when we've landed this safely. To commemorate our first spaceflight.

[ he pauses for a moment as he contemplates his alternatives. on one hand, he could let the other man know that yes, it does bother him just a little. on the other...
that was a sign of weakness. lets him know he's embarrassed. for the second time around him. and so... ]

[ and he's trying his damnedest to send off "this is totally cool and not embarrassing" vibes. whether or not he succeeds is another story entirely.
Vunderbar! [ There is a brilliant pleased happiness that comes off Reinhardt in a massive wave. It's such a simple thing really. Just a photo. But it's like he's just been allowed some amazing treasure. But Reinhardt really only had pictures. He only has the one. The picture of everyone together, before things started going wrong. To have another photo of a friend he cares about, it makes him very happy indeed. ]
Well, then as soon as we land this bird, we'll do a proper one. You and DD and myself. No more surprise pictures from me though, I promise.
[ But this means they have to actually get to the planet and land. So with a reward in mind that makes him utterly gleeful, he focuses on getting that shuttle there just a little faster. Reinhardt and his rocket boosters. ]
[ it was hard to stay completely embarrassed when the man across from him was so enthusiastic. it was almost... endearing in a strange way.
but, he tries not to think too much about it, even as a smile continues to play at his lips.
thankfully despite Reinhardt's enthusiasm for rocket boosters, the rest of the flight seems to go pretty smoothly. well... as smoothly as it can go with a Soviet spy and an over-enthusiastic futuristic German Crusader. ]
