I'll go for the mouth. [ He hopes the stranger doesn't think he's taking the easy route out of laziness, he simply thinks the other man is more likely to shoots its eyes than he is. Hopefully he'll consider it a compliment to his shooting skills.

[ He warns when the creature intends to swoop in, bullets be damned, ducking down out of its way. When the serpent gets too close, Steve grabs hold of an oar and strikes its head as hard as he can, enough to pierce its skin. ]

[ but before he gets the chance to finish his sentence, Steve is yelling "incoming" at him. as the other man hits the creature over the head, Ocelot grabs out his other fully loaded revolver, unloading six bullets right into its head. that, combined with being nearly impaled by an oar... should hopefully do the trick. ]
