BABY I COMPARE YOU TO A KISS FROM A ROSE
Who: Big Boss (John), Ocelot (Adam)
When: Mid-October
Where: The Suites With no Name
What: Guys Being Bros
Warnings: :')
[ three hundred years. Ocelot feels like he should be more shaken by all of this, but somehow he isn't. if nothing else, they'd managed to step out of the proverbial fire and back into something... a little calmer, more or less. in a truly miraculous twist of fate, they'd all even managed to survive.
(though of course, for Adam, there had only ever been one person that had mattered. everyone else, including himself, was expendable)
the last week or so had been an exercise in trying to settle into their new reality. John had left Adam the task of picking out new living quarters for the two of them, and while he'd thought he'd done a decent job at first, the occasional skittering across the floor had made it glaringly obvious that the quality was unfortunately just as "good", if not worse than Chioni.
(well. at the very least, John might have some new "food" to sample if he gets bored)
the only thing that hadn't really been addressed was the matter of everything that had happened between them, before the escape and shortly after. on one hand, it really wasn't something that needed addressing. it had happened, and nothing had really changed. on the other... for the past week or so, it had been easy enough to settle back into a familiar routine, with separate beds andconspiracy walls.
the fact of the matter was, it was likely going to continue on that way, unless something gave one way or another. and so, Adam resolves to actually make good on the promise they'd implicitly made to each other. And so with that, the next time they both find themselves back in their suite at the same time, he stops John, grabbing onto his arm. ]
You got a minute?
[though first they'd need to make sure Joy was safely tucked into bed. ]
