the scar underneath isn't exactly neat, shiny and warped like any burn would be. the stitching that keeps his eyelids sealed is newer than the scar itself, sealed a second time after the sordid events of dhkelia. overall, it's not a scar he shows off. not only because it's severe, but, well, revealing it to everyone who would look lessened the importance of it. it was adam's handiwork, after all.]
