[ The probably-not-dead serpent comes back up out of the water for another round and Steve immediately starts firing at its mouth. ] Incoming! [ He warns when the creature intends to swoop in, bullets be damned, ducking down out of its way. When the serpent gets too close, Steve grabs hold of an oar and strikes its head as hard as he can, enough to pierce its skin. ]

[ but before he gets the chance to finish his sentence, Steve is yelling "incoming" at him. as the other man hits the creature over the head, Ocelot grabs out his other fully loaded revolver, unloading six bullets right into its head. that, combined with being nearly impaled by an oar... should hopefully do the trick. ]
They don't let up, do they? The giant spiders were easier to take down than this.
